It all began in 1946 : With a borrowed Singer sewing machine, Maria Isola started working as a self-employed seamstress in Radenthein in Carinthia, using her special knowledge of traditional costumes and dirndls to create the foundation for the ISOLA brand. The quality product ISOLA is now sold, worn and valued worldwide.

"Not the usual, the extraordinary" is the motto of the ISOLA company. Ms. Andrea Weiss, granddaughter of the company founder, ensures as lead designer together with her team that the special signature of the house stays consistent. Together with her husband and a competent management team, she is leading the third ISOLA generation very consciously and with full commitment.

The wide range includes dirndls, dresses, skirts, combinations, spenzers, pants, jackets, blouses and waistcoats. ISOLA cultivates high standards in every respect. Far away from cheap imports they stick to high-quality products, despite market fluctuations. "That's the only way we can keep our standards." Plus something extraordinary: ISOLA is the only Austrian company that manufactures traditional "Talschaftstrachten" - authentic costumes made to order.
